Iceland vs Great Britain

I've just read a story in the Guardian talking about the situation in Iceland. It's interesting to read all the comments people have posted. Roy Hattersley (whoever he is) has said in the Guardian as well that Icelanders are stubborn and inflexible, referring to the Cod War.

Maybe he hit his head on the nail there with the stubbornness... (even thought most of that story is total bullshit!!!)

I am never going to become a tax payer in a country where I am classed as a terrorist!! I guess I'm too stubborn for that and definatly too proud! England doesn't realise what it is going to be missing out on... but that's their loss!

I've heard about Icelandic people who have been in England during the last week and have cut their trips short because of how they were treated and how the general public in England was speaking about Iceland and Icelandic people! That's just sad... do they honestly think that the general icelandic citizen has got anything to do with the situation, that icelandic people are not sorry for charities that have potentially lost lots of money?
